There are two ways to organize a conference call:
+
:: The conference members join the conference via any telephone connection.
:* The subscribers connect via the conference portal with the needed information to the desired conference room.

:* The conference organizer calls up all subscribers via a "predefined conference".

: * "UCC WebRTC" Conference:
 +
:: The "UCC WebRTC" conference provides a web browser based conferencing environment with fully encrypted audio and video conferencing, slideshow presentations, document sharing, desktop sharing etc. . Conference members without Internet access can also participate in a "UCC WebRTC" conference. However, they are limited to the audio conference.
 +
:: To organize "UCC WebRTC" conferences, the telephony system must be equipped with a "UCC WebRTC Service".

Both conference types can be organized via the AdminCenter. An invitation and automatic reminders can be sent to the conference participants via e-mail. The invitation contains all the necessary information for the conference members to join the conference.

Introduction

Conferences allow multiple users to participate in the same conversation. Two different conference types are available:

* Traditional Audio Conference:
The conference members join the conference via any telephone connection.
* "UCC WebRTC" Conference:
The "UCC WebRTC" conference provides a web browser based conferencing environment with fully encrypted audio and video conferencing, slideshow presentations, document sharing, desktop sharing etc. . Conference members without Internet access can also participate in a "UCC WebRTC" conference. However, they are limited to the audio conference.
To organize "UCC WebRTC" conferences, the telephony system must be equipped with a "UCC WebRTC Service".

Both conference types can be organized via the AdminCenter. An invitation and automatic reminders can be sent to the conference participants via e-mail. The invitation contains all the necessary information for the conference members to join the conference.
